Laminate
HDF-based flooring with a decor layer: affordable wood look, but sensitive to water.
Laminate is an HDF board with a printed decor and wear layer. Choose class 32–33 for homes, 8 mm+ thickness and 4-side bevels. Its weak point is water: the HDF core swells, so for kitchens we usually suggest SPC instead. In Kazakhstan prices run 3,500–12,000 KZT/m².
