Wall sconce
A wall-mounted light: local eye-level light by beds, mirrors and armchairs.
Sconces provide the middle layer of light that gives rooms depth: 1000–1200 mm high at bedsides with separate switches, flanking bathroom mirrors at eye level (overhead light draws shadows under eyes), rhythmic series in hallways. Wall outlets must be planned before plastering.
