Color temperature
The shade of white light in kelvins: warm 2700K to rest, neutral 4000K to work.
Measured in kelvins: 2700–3000K is warm, 4000K neutral, 5000K+ cold. Our standard: 3000K throughout the home, 4000K only for kitchen worktop and makeup lighting, nothing colder indoors. Iron rule: one temperature per room — mixing 3000K and 4000K in one ceiling reads as a mistake.
