The document of project requirements: household, life scenarios, budget, wishes.
The brief fixes the inputs before work starts: who lives there and how, storage, budget, tastes and hard no's — signed by both sides. The crucial answers are about scenarios (who cleans, where laundry dries), not style: style can change at collage stage, a forgotten laundry room cannot be added after.
