Accent wall
One wall set apart by color or texture: the room's focal point.
An accent wall is one surface deliberately set apart — deep paint, slats, stone, a bold print. Accent the wall the room faces: behind the bed or the TV, never the window wall (it reads in backlight). One accent per room; a dark far wall visually shortens an elongated room.
